We will not have practices on April 1-5. Those dates work best for family vacations (perhaps a day before/after also okay if saves $). We will resume practices April 6-9 with our first conference games scheduled for April 11.

Will You Be Ready When Your Opportunity Arises?

“In playing ball, or in life, a person occasionally gets the opportunity to do something great. When that time comes, only two things matter: being prepared to seize the moment and having the courage to take your best swing.” - Hank Aaron

What WE Do:

We must practice as we expect to perform in games and that is simply competitive, aggressive, mature, effective, and efficient.  We don’t leave practices, games, careers saying, “I would’ve . . . I could’ve  . . . I should’ve . . . “  We leave practices, games, and careers saying, “We did…”

We practice in a positive manner to achieve positive results.  We completely support one another, yet we strive to meet our individual goals.

Saber Baseball Code

  • Students First – Athletes Second
  • Be an example of Integrity and Class:
    • You represent yourself, your family, your school, your community, your coaches, and our baseball program – so do it with dignity, loyalty, trust, and pride.
    • Always do the right thing . . . especially when nobody is looking.
  • Challenge yourself and your teammates to be better each dayLeave each practice knowing that NO ONE out-worked you.

Social Media Guidelines

"Treat every conversation you have on social media as if it were a nationally televised press conference."

Tips for avoiding social media mishaps:

  • Don't post anything you wouldn't say to your family, a coach, employer, or media.
  • Set security settings so only friends can see social media activity.
  • Your followers and your friends are a reflection of you.
  • Avoid any negative posts and any opinion on a controversial subject or topic.
  • Don't post when emotional.
  • If you are second-guessing a possible post, don't post it.
  • Ask for guidance from a coach or administrator if you are uncertain about how to respond to something.
