Tickets

Tickets will be sold ONLINE ONLY starting April 8th. All sales will end on April 30th, no exceptions.  Tickets will be $50 each. Every student will need to enter their last name (as listed exactly in Infinite Campus) and their ID number before they can purchase tickets.

Those with outstanding attendance issues will not be able to purchase tickets until cleared through Admin. Once cleared, students will get a code to purchase tickets through the Activities Office.

Non Shakopee guests will need to have an admin at their school fill out the Guest Form before a Guest ticket code is given by the Activities Office. 9th and 10th grade Shakopee guests will need their ID number to purchase a ticket.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. At this point, no financial assistance is available for the ticket purchase. The Shakopee Prom is an independently funded activity that receives no money from the district. Ticket sales go directly towards funding prom the following year.

Please do not enter your name or ID number for your ticket until you are ready to purchase. If the system times out, your ID number does not go back into the database and you will not be able to purchase another ticket with your information. Make sure you have your credit card ready and are purchasing right after you add the ticket to your cart.

Students will need to show the ticket barcode on their phone (or on printed paper) AS WELL AS their Student ID. Guests will need to show a school ID from their school. If the names on the tickets do not match the ID, guests will be denied entry.

TICKETS ARE NO LONGER ON SALE

ALL ATTENDEES NEED TO BRING THEIR TICKET QR CODE AND PHOTO ID TO THE DANCE. SCHOOL ID, INFINITE CAMPUS PROFILE OR DRIVERS LICENSE ARE ALL ACCEPTED.

Attendance Requirements for Purchasing Tickets

This attendance requirement is aligned with Shakopee's belief that regular and consistent attendance matters. Attendance is being tracked during Quarters 2 & 3 (November 13 - March 28). In order to attend prom, students must have an attendance rate of at least 90%.

Requirements:
90+% attendance
can attend prom regardless of detentions

75-90% attendance can attend prom with 0 detentions

Less than 75% attend  cannot attend prom regardless of detentions

If your student has questions regarding their individual eligibility for prom, they should seek out their Dean during their lunch period (not during class time).

To be clear, only  unexcused absences count against a student.
