Every three years the Shakopee High School Band goes on a major tour. This is open to all of the members of the Shakopee High School Band Program. In April 2014 the Shakopee High School Band traveled to Germany and Austria.
In 2017 the band toured the Central European region with stops in Czesky Krumlov, Prague, Vienna, and Budapest. It was an amazing experience for both students and adults alike capped off with exceptional performances at the National Music Museum of the Czech Republic, St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna, and the Basilica Ezstergom.
Unfortunately the COVID-19 pandemic cancelled the 2020 Ireland tour.
In 2023 the band and choir toured together through Germany, Austria and Italy with performances in Salzburg, Innsbruck, and Venice.
In 2025 the band will be going to Ireland over spring break.
