2023 Knowledge Bowl Team
Knowledge Bowl for Middle Grades (KB) is an interdisciplinary academic competition program (grades 6-8) that promotes academic achievement and rewards academic excellence. During a KB meet, teams of students work cooperatively to solve oral and written round questions. No team is eliminated during a meet and every team participates in every round. Questions are related to all areas of learning typical of middle grades and secondary educational programs, including subjects of math, science, social studies, language arts, and current events. Knowledge Bowl competitions test students' recall and problem solving abilities, critical thinking skills and teamwork skills. Teams of 5 or 6 students accrue points by answering correctly as they compete for placement against the other teams at each meet.

You can volunteer at one or both of our home meets. We cannot make these home meets happen if we don’t have enough volunteers.
We will host two meets at East this year and for each we will need volunteers throughout the 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM timeframe. Even if you are only available for a portion of this time, your help is still valuable.
Later this season you will receive more information on volunteering!
