The Shakopee Mountain Bike Team participates in the Minnesota Cycling Association's 5-race series as a fall club sport.  The race season takes place on 5 weekends during September and October.  Our practices and races take place on a mix of dirt singletrack (primarily), gravel, and paved paths.  We practice 3 days per week (Tu, Th, Sat) and generally meet at these locations but not limited to:  Memorial Park in Shakopee, Carver Park Reserve in Victoria, and Murphy-Hanrehan Park in Savage.  On Saturdays, we usually drive to various trailheads in the metro area for new riding experiences.   We encourage students of all riding abilities to come out for this lifelong sport as a way of meeting new people, creating a healthy lifestyle and mostly to have fun on your bike.
