Strength & Conditioning Coach
The Activities Office is excited to be able to offer our Saber Strength program again this summer! However, please be aware that there are strict limitations on the number of students that we are allowed to have in our facilities at a time. We also expect all students to follow the District's COVID protocols at all times, including wearing masks while indoors. All students should have a mask with them at all times and also have their own water bottles.
Saber Strength registration will open MAY 3RD. The program itself will start June 14th and run until August 13th.
Sessions will run as follows:
Session 1FB- 6:30-8:00am; M/W/TH/F; 11th & 12th grade FOOTBALL ONLY
Session 2FB- 7:30am-9:00am; M/W/TH/F; 9th & 10th grade FOOTBALL ONLY
Session 3- 6:30-8:00am; M/T/W/TH; Open lift in Fitness Center for ALL 9-12th grade students (max 30)
Session 4- 8:30am- 10:00am; M/T/W/TH; Open lift in Weight Room for ALL 9-12th grade students (max 88)
Session 5- 10:00am-11:30am; M/T/W/TH; Open lift in Weight Room for ALL 9-12th grade students (max 88)
Additionally, we will be offering two Saber Readiness sessions. These sessions will be held at the Shakopee High School in the main weight room. Please be aware that these sessions are extremely limited and are first come, first serve.
Readiness sessions are as follows:
Session R1- 12:00pm-12:45pm; T/TH; Open for 6-8th grade (max 44)
Session R2- 12:45pm- 1:30pm; T/TH; Open for 6-8th grade (max 44)
As a reminder, there are no wait lists for our Summer Program. If a session is full, please choose a different session if another one works for you. We are not able to exceed numbers due to safety and a buffer has automatically been built in to the registration system knowing that some students will change or drop sessions.
